IMPORTANT: A Qualifying Life Event or a change in family status (such as a birth or marriage) is an event that allows County employees to make changes to their insurance elections during the plan year. Changes must be made within 31 days of the event. If you have an upcoming Qualifying Life Event or a change in family status, please contact Human Resources as soon as possible at 815-547-6269.

Open Enrollment
The Open Enrollment period for medical, dental, and vision insurance is available until Monday, June 15th. Complete the required enrollment/change forms and submit them to the Administration Office. If you are currently enrolled in the County's medical, dental, or vision insurance and do not wish to make any changes to your existing coverage, no action is required on your part. Hard copies are available upon request.
