Know your rights when requesting information via the Freedom of Information Act
Fees: The first 50 pages are free. Any additional pages are 15 cents/page.
Response time: 5 business days from the day after the public body receives the request. The public body may request time deadline extensions for statutory reasons. A public body has 21 business days to respond to a request for information that is made for commercial purposes.
