The Boone County Adult Detention Facility operates as a team, embraces diversity, and commits to enhancing public safety within our community by providing a safe, secure and humane correctional facility. Our mission is to reduce criminal behavior by holding all detainees responsible for their actions and providing them with access to programs and services that will impact them in a positive manner and assist them in their re-entry into the community.
