Boone County Animal Services is a government owned and operated animal control facility, certified and inspected by the State of Illinois. It is funded by dog registrations, fines and fees.

Boone County Animal Services protects public safety and ensures the humane care of animals through sheltering, pet placement, education and animal law enforcement.

All Dogs and Cats must be Vaccinated Against Rabies and Registered with Boone County
