The Boone County Board of Review has closed the books for 2013 and turned the 2013 values over to the Boone County Clerk.
The 2014 Senior Freeze forms were mailed Thursday, January 30, 2014.  Anyone that has signed up for the senior exemption will receive one.  Anyone 65 or older that has not signed up for the senior exemption should contact the Supervisor of Assessments Office at 815-544-2958.

The 2013 Boone County Board of Review final decisions were mailed January 22, 2014. Property owners who filed to the Board of Review will have until February 24, 2014 to file to the Property Tax Appeal Board if not satisfied with the final decision.

The Boone County Board of Review 2013 tentative decisions will be mailed Friday, January 3, 2014.  Property owners that have appealed their 2013 assessed values will have until January 10, 2014 to call for a hearing with the Board of Review if they do not agree with the tentative decision.
The Boone County Board of Review has finished their initial review of appeals.  We hope to mail tentative decisions the first week of January 2014.  Any taxpayer not happy with the tentative value will have 5 days to call our office for a hearing.
As of today, December 9, 2013, the Boone County Board of Review is still reviewing any 2013 appeals filed.  A date has not been set to mail tentative decisions
