Voter Registration and Grace Period Registration

Tomorrow, October 11, is the last day to register to vote if you’d like to be able to vote in your polling place. You may register in our office Monday and Tuesday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM at 1212 Logan Ave, Suite 103, Belvidere, IL 61008. Also available is online registration until October 23 and mail in registrations must have a postmark on or before October 11. These forms may be found at www.elections.il.gov or www.boonecountyil.org/content/voter-and-election-information.   
 
Wednesday, October 12, is the beginning of Grace Period Registration. We are accepting registrations in our office Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday, November 5 from 9:00 AM to noon and on Election Day from 6:00 AM to 7:00 PM. If you register on Election Day be aware there may be a long line. (We advise that you do not wait till the last day). It is a requirement that you vote at the same time of registration so make sure you are prepared to cast your ballot.
 
Two forms of identification are required for in-person registration and Grace Period Registration. One form MUST have a current address.
