Offers fishing in the Kishwaukee River, picnic shelters, tennis courts, basketball courts, volley ball courts and playground equipment. Belvidere Park includes 1.5 miles of the Kishwaukee Riverfront Recreation Path. William Grady outdoor pool opens Memorial Day. Programs and activities for all ages throughout the year. The Chamber serves visitors as a community information center offering maps, brochures, up to date calendar of events, and a wide variety of information about Belvidere and Boone County.

Operates with a mission of preserving natural areas, promoting environmental education and facilitating recreation. Since its creation in 1964, the district has preserved more than 1,700 acres of parks, trails, and preserves. Features include 900 acres in the Kishwaukee River Valley, 800 acres in picnic areas and parks, over 30 miles of hiking, biking trails, including 15 miles of the Long Prairie Trail which stretches across northern Boone County. The Nature Center/Visitor's Center, open year round, is utilized by schools and the public, and includes a summer day camp, public programs, and distribution of a newsletter. Autumn Pioneer Festival held the 4th weekend of September each year.
Nature Center hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.

Multipurpose agency offering supportive services to older adults. Services include public transportation service, medical car escort, information and assistance, outreach, Community Care Program In Home Care, senior center, health screenings, education, recreation, volunteer opportunities, computer lab, SHIP insurance assistance, Alzheimer's support group, Grandparents Raising Grandchildren support group, low vision support group and care givers support group. Services target older adults, their families and care givers.
