Proposed Five Year Major Capital Improvement Program
  • FY 2009
    1. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay of Cherry Valley Road from Winnebago County line to the DeKalb County line.
    2. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay of Poplar Grove Road from Marengo Road North to the
      village limits of Poplar Grove. This is the County's economic stimulus project.
    3. Replace the narrow structure on Orth Road between Caledonia Road and Ilinois Route 76.
    4. Replace the structure on Hunter Road approximately 1,000 feet west of LeRoy Center Road.

  • FY 2010
    1. Hot Mat Asphalt on Garden Prairie Road from US Route 20 north to Woodstock Road.
    2. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay on Caledonia Road from Illinois Route 76 north to Illinois Route 173.
    3. Replace the bridgeon Hunter Road over the Beaver Creek between the two LeRoy Center Roads.

  • FY 2011
    1. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay on Beaverton Road from Hunter Road to Manchester Road.
    2. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay on Capron Road from the Village of Capron village limits north to Hunter Road.

  • FY 2012
    1. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay on Russellville Road, Grange Hall Road, Denny Road and Angling Road.

  • FY 2013
    1. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay of Capron Road from Angling Road north to the village limits of Capron..
    2. Hot Mat Asphalt overlay of Hunter Road from Winnebago County line to Illinois Route 76


Other Anticipated Bridgework:

  1. Replace the bridge on Poplar Grove Road (Pleasant Street) over the Kishwaukee River. Anticipated remaining life is five to ten years.
  2. Replace the bridge on Woodstock Road over the Piscasaw Creek. Anticipated remaining life is five to ten years. This project wold include realigning Woodstock Road to intersect with the south Woodstock Road and Poplar Grove Road intersection, by the new golf course.
