Online Mapping Service

Belvidere -  Boone County GIS has partnered with Winnebago County's WinGIS Consortium to put our geographic data and maps online for public use. Members of the public have two options to access this data.

Free Public Online Mapping

The public mapping service requires that you already have a Property Identification Number (PIN) or an address in Boone County, and is best suited for printing a cadastral map of a single property. In addition to property lines an aerial photographs, the free mapping service also has zoning for Boone County and Belvidere, floodplains, school districts, and voting precincts.

Paid Subscription Mapping

The paid subscription service includes enhanced ability to search and manipulate the online map, and many more data layers including Enterprise Zones, TIF districts, and Comprehensive plans.
